 UNDERWATER - gone Pacha Website: underwaterrecords.com After two years sharing the Wednesday slot at Pacha with Erick Morillo's Sublimminal Records label, in 2003 Darren Emerson's Underwater label took over the vacant Tuesday nights at the same venue, and is now in its second year. Mainly to take advantage of a sorely underused Pacha pass, and also in search of something a tad more tribal than most of the parties you find me at, I made a couple of very enjoyable visits to the very British and very heterosexual Underwater party in 2003. It wasn't that busy when I visited, but has succeeded in holding on to Tuesday nights for a second year, so here's hoping in can build on last year's success.

The music was fantastic, and though I soon discovered the delights of Carl Cox on Tuesday nights at Space, I've no hesitations in recommending Underwater for the quality of its music.
