For one of the biggest New Year's Eves ever - 1999, to be precise - the Ibiza superclubs, which Pacha aside are generally closed during the winter, all decided to throw open their doors for spectacular (and free) new year parties!

This proved to be such a vote-winner, that in subsequent years since, they've continued to do so, attracting locals and clubbers from as far afield as Majorca and Barcelona, though never quite acheiving that same impact as the first year. Still, given the choice between New Year in London, or New Year in Ibiza, I know which one would appeal to me most!
