Open from May to October, Katiana' s restaurant is usually my favourite place to eat after a particularly trashy night out at any of the island's opening or closing parties, as it's usually guaranteed that Katiana would have been at the party with you, and will know exactly how you're feeling...

Though not as cheap as some of my favourite restaurants, it's still excellent value, and with its stunning terrace set beneath a canopy of vines, with views across the walls of Dalt Vila, its also the most romantic restaurant in town.

My favourite place for private dinners for two, as Katiana's very good at discretely finding out the name of whoever I'm with on any given day...

During the winter, Katiana will be found working with her brother Carlos, at their mum and dad's restaurant, El Portalón, set just a bit further inside the Dalt Vila walls.

A restaurant that's easily missed, being distanced from the bulk of the restaurants in Dalt Vila's main plaza, but one worth visiting again and again.
