 BEACH BUM
When the sun shines, the gay crowd will head for Playa Es Cavallet, home to one of the world's premier gay beaches, but Ibiza has hundreds of miles of unspoilt coastline from which to choose, and is a veritable paradise for all in search of beach heaven.
The laziest sunbathing option, particularly if you're staying in one of the main tourist centres, is just to grab a towel and park your arse on the nearest bit of sand to your accommodation. Don't. You'll miss out on some fabulous sights and people-spotting, and may as well go to Magaluf, if you fail to take advantage of Ibiza's more seductive beaches.
If you want to be adventurous, and have either a car or bikes (and you really don't want to be seen), head along the coast and explore. There are hundreds of coves and headlands to explore and swim off, and some of the prettiest beaches don't get walked on from one year to the next. And the beach pictured to the left is the mysterious Atlantis... I would share with you the secret of where it is, but I'd have to kill you afterwards, so instead I'll just recommend that you pick up a copy of the Rough Guide to Ibiza & Formentera, which will tell exactly which mountain you need to climb in order to reach Atlantis...
